2022 Antinori Cervaro della Sala

Produced at Castello della Sala which is in Umbria, not far from the Tuscan border and close to the great wine producing city of Orvieto. 

This unique wine is made from Chardonnay and a small amount of Grechetto (8%), and has been produced with ageing in mind. 

The palate is rich and mineral with light notes of hazelnut butter. The nose has intense citrus fruit, acacia blossom and a hint of vanilla. 

The 2020 has "remarkable ageing potential" for collectors. We can see potential to 2030.
