2021 Benito Ferrara Vigna Cigogna

This stunning wine comes from the Tufo appellation of Avellino, in the region of Campania. The Greco di Tufo grapes come from a single vineyard, the Cicogna estate, some 450 metres above sea level. Maturation takes place in stainless steel leading to a clean and refined straw colour. 

The Cicogna displays deep minerality, a reflection of the excellent terroir of the estate. The nose is full of tropical fruit and the finish has a distinctive taste of bitter almond.

This wine pairs well with risotto, grilled fish and soups. 

Cicogna drinks beautifully young but can be matured for at least three years.
