Crafted exclusively from this noble varietal, it stands as the alter ego to Cervaro, embodying the diverse expressions of Castello della Sala's nuanced character.

Nestled amidst our estate, a pristine expanse of four hectares (10 acres) of Pinot Nero vineyards awaits at an elevation of 400 meters (1312 feet) above the sea, cradled by calcareous soils enriched with ancient fossils. Here, the sedimentary sands from the Pliocene epoch infuse the vines, nurturing grapes that exude complexity and finesse.

This Pinot Noir opens with aromas of macerated cherries, wild strawberries, dried hay, baking spices and fresh herbs. The core of the palate centers on the vibrant cherry notes that are balanced by earthy notes of roasted mushroom and forest floor.
