Collesi American Oak Grappa

Collesi begin with a careful selection of pomace distilled in a water bath using its preferred discontinuous steam method of distillation. The grappa is then aged for eighteen months in small American oak barrels. 

The colour is a distinctive mahogany colour. While the smell is rich and complex, the grappa is very soft on the palate. Notes of oak, vanilla and raisins converge towards a vin santo like character that envelopes the mouth.
