Grappa di Sassicaia

Produced by Poli, this grappa uses the marc from the famous Sassicaia wine of Bolgheri Tuscany. Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon produce a full bodied grappa with amazing mouth feel. 

The grappa is aged four four years in barriques and six months in barrels that had previously aged Sassicaia wine. 

Grappa di Sassicaia has strong notes of vanilla from the wood ageing and there is also cocoa, coffee and a liqorice kick. 

This grappa pairs well with chocolate, creamy desserts and pear.
